Will Calling out racism soon be illegal? • I have suspected for sometime that an endgame for the conservative political party in the United States is to abolish the EEOC and make it impossible for marginalized groups to raise issues of racism in court or anywhere else. • And my suspicions are becoming reality, at least in the state of Florida, where a law is, being proposed that would allow someone to file a defamation civil suit against anyone who accused them of racism, homophobia, sexism, or any ism. • The intention is to take away the right to call out wrongdoing, but do nothing about the wrongdoing itself. • They don’t want to be called racist they just want to do racist things. • Very on brand for the the conservative fascist movement taking over the United States of America. • If this becomes law in Florida, I expect other “red” states to follow suit. • In my video, I talk about what this could mean for those of you who may be in discriminatory hostile work environments. • If you believe that you are facing discrimination in the workplace now is the time to act.
