Trying to remember an IP address such as 72.213.54.34 every time would be difficult. To make it easier we use friendly words such as windows.com • DNS is used to map the word to the IP address. When there are issues with DNS, devices are unable to communicate. • The Nslookup command is a tool that can be used to help identify name resolution issues.
