DOS2DE Fort Joy Completed in Under 2 Minutes TAS

Act complete in 1:45, the fastest time in theory for now. • Segmented. • • 0:25 - I recruit Red Prince as a “Knight” because I need him to have Battering Ram. • • Scrollwheel is bound to ‘1’ to skip text as fast as possible. There is a cap of 30 lines of text/second (which is fast). • • 0:27 – Teleport to the Fort Joy Beach waypoint and move a vase (any item would work) to a specific point on the map (node glitch). • • I used a No Fog edit so you can see what’s going on. • • Moving vase to spot where we’re going to “teleport” to • • 0:36 - Throw item to the spot where we placed the vase (super fling glitch), use bullrush on item while it’s midair. • • 0:40 – Main character is now ‘flying’ to the spot where vase was placed. Meanwhile Red Prince sets up his own node glitch. This is why he needs battering ram, same principle as bullrush. • • 0:46 – You can see main character flying across the map towards the final part of the map. • • 0:50 – Main character collects weight needed to be able to deal with Alexander, his gang and the drillworm. Makes way to the fight. • • 1:00 – Using bullrush + haste + sneak to get past the shriekers. Sneaking cancels shriekers ability to kill you. Fun fact: if you jump under a shrieker and melee it, it will get stuck in a loop. • • 1:07 – Red Prince throws item to his node he set at 0:40+rams it and is now flying to the fort joy square. He needs to be here to get Tactical Retreat + Cloak and Dagger from Butter and Hilde. • • 1:15 – Gheist gets a turn and is manipulated to miss his knockdown • • 1:17 – Bag with weight is thrown around using super flings instantly killing the enemies. • • 1:20 – Play dead before killing alex (killing alex spawns worm) so that we can use bag ‘out of combat’ and still kill enemies. • • 1:26 – Alex is looted + bag is moved to red prince • • 1:28 – Red prince uses bag that was moved to kill hilde and butter. They always drop tactical retreat and cloak and dagger (if you are lvl 4) • • 1:35 – Main character quickly learns tac retreat, cloak and dagger then finishes the act.
