To handle heavy goods on the quayside as well as in a ship’s hull, the challenge was to be able to lift a Hyster H40XM-12 in and out of ships with a crane that has a lifting capacity of 50 tonnes. • The solution: a stevedoring counterweight that automatically unlocks when it is lifted.
