Update 20th Oct 2019: Wine 4.18-devel BREAKS skse64, 4.17-devel still works. • Vortex does not seem to run in WINE, therefore I had to figure out how to install SkyUI manually into SE and the internet was rather obtuse about how to do this as every main stream source just recommends Use NMM/Vortex REEE • Step by step instructions for SkyUI in Linux/Wine: • 1. Get basic SkyrimSE running in linux. • 2. Download ( https://skse.silverlock.org/ ) and extract SKSE to the Skyrim main folder • 3. Download ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspeci... ) and extract SkyUI (.esp and .bsa) into the SkyrimSE/Data folder • 4. Add the line • *SkyUI_SE.esp • to • (wine drive c:) c:\\users\\username\\Local Settings\\Application Data\\Skyrim Special Edition\\Plugins.txt • 5. On my Steam-based Skyrim installation, the win64 steam has to already be running for SKSE to load properly • 6. run skse64_loader.exe • 7. confirm you are running SKSE and then confirm the mods are working
