This orange marmalade jam is a great way to use up fresh oranges and enjoy their flavor all year round. It has a perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess, and a smooth texture with bits of orange and zest. You only need 3 ingredients to make this orange marmalade: oranges, sugar, and lemon juice. No pectin, no preservatives, no artificial flavors. • You’ll never buy store-bought orange jam again! • Ingredients: • • 4 oranges • • Sugar (2:1 fruit to sugar ratio) • • Half a lemon • That's really it! Thank you for watching! • Oh and check out my orange and almond cookies recipe here: • How to Make Amazing Orange and Almond... • See you next time! • Here's the video transcript with instructions: • 4 washed oranges • Cut the zest, try to cut it as thin as possible • The orange part is full of flavor, we want every bit of it • Peel the oranges, discard the white part (the pith) • Cut into wedges • Cut out the center bit (optional) • Arrange the zest for easier cutting • Slice into thin strips • Transfer the orange wedges into the pot • Use a stick blender to break the oranges • You don't have to blend them too much, if there are still bits of orange it's no problem • Sugar - 2:1 fruit to sugar ratio • Add the zest strips • Start cooking over low heat • Quick mix • We'll need half of a lemon • Squeeze half a lemon directly into the pot • Let simmer for about 40 minutes and stir from time to time • It looks like it's ready • I'll show you a trick to understand when it has the perfect consistency • Take a small amount of marmalade • Put it on a cold plate • Tilt the plate, it should slide down very slowly • Now it's time to transfer it to sterilized jars • Perfect color and taste without any additives • Tightly close the lid • A flavor bomb in a jar • It perfectly captures the essence of the oranges and you can enjoy it all year round • Now comes the best part • • Music: • Guillaume Muschalle, Ariel T - A Bird in the Rain https://chll.to/4e8b1c6b
