On our drive from Shingwedzi to Mopani Rest Camp in the Kruger National Park we stopped to eat our toasted sandwiches which we bought at the camp before leaving. Although rustic looking, they surprised us with their deliciousness. The drive was a scenic adventure, unveiling a diverse array of wildlife and captivating landmarks, including the awe-inspiring Red Rocks shaped over millennia. Our time at Mopani, spanning two days, provided the ideal respite. The breathtaking view of Pioneer Dam from the viewpoint in camp added a touch of serenity to our stay. Embracing the South African tradition, we enjoyed the fun of preparing a breakfast on the skottel, which kept us sustained for the duration of the day.
