The lying hamstring stretch is a passive hamstring stretch that can be done after a warm up or workout to open the hamstrings and improve flexibility. Here, Personal Trainer and Yoga Instructor Ryan demonstrates how to do a lying hamstring stretch. • How To Do A Lying Hamstring Stretch • 1. Lie down flat on your back with arms by your sides and legs extended straight out. • 2. Lift one leg up as high as you can while keeping the knee straight and foot flexed. • 3. Place both hands on the back of the hamstring, calf or ankle and gently pull the leg towards your chest as close as you can while keeping it straight. • 4.
