The #danceshow Tang Gong Ye Yan (Night Banquet in #TangDynasty Palace), from the 2021 #SpringFestival gala put on by Henan Satellite Television, has gone viral online. • It presents the entire process of having a banquet in the Tang Dynasty (618-907), from early preparations to a performance by a group of female musicians, which audiences found quite amusing and carrying much cultural weight. • Night Banquet in Palace of Tang Dynasty is adapted from the entry Terracotta figures of the Tang Dynasty as performed by Zhengzhou Song and Dance Theater for the 12th Chinese Dance Lotus Awards in 2020.
