Minority Mindset - Jaspreet Singh • • • • 1. A muslim witnessed this event. Really WTF with a towel wrapped around his head. No actual american’s witnessed this or were available for an interview, is this propaganda bullshit or what. • a. Ugh, what’s an actual American? Yeah it’s propaganda • 2. The witness looks like the suspect • Sikhism is an independent religion meaning it’s not a branch of any other religion. It was founded by 10 different Gurus or teachers during a time of conflict in India. • We believe in one God, equality amongst all people, and serving others before you serve yourself or as we say it vand chakna. That means it doesn’t matter what caste, creed, gender, race and religion you are, everyone is equal. • And Take that towel off your head, take towel off head btw mindset is one word, (laugh and add on to previous comment) fuck off towel head, towel head go the fuck back home white power. Okay but what’s up with the diper on your head. • This on my head is a turban, and we call it a dastaar. There are a few different kinds of dastaars. We have patka which is worn by kids. We have the bigger version called a paghri. And I’m wearing what’s called a parna. • We tie a dastaar not just because it looks cool but to cover our heads and our uncut hair. • Yes I said uncut hair. Sikhs do not cut their hair, it is part of our identity. Like I said before, Sikhism are protectors and warriors, and our turban and hair was like a uniform to make a Sikh easily identifiable. • When Sikhism was founded, people were divided by their caste meaning profession. People from one caste were often forbidden from associating with people of different castes. • Oh you’re a laborer, sorry I can’t talk to you. • You would identify with your caste through your last name. Sikhism came along as a way to get rid of the caste system because we believe everyone is equal regardless of your profession or income or background. So to put it in effect, our 10th Guru made it so all girls keep the last name Kaur, meaning princess, and guys keep the last name Singh, meaning lion. This way everyone is equal and you can’t identify someone’s caste. • • http://www.TheMinorityMindset.com • This Video:    • Am I A Terrorist? Minority Mindset - ...   • Channel:    / minoritymindset   • Based in Detroit. #Punjab • Jaspreet Singh • • DISCLAIMER: This description may contain links from our affiliates, sponsors, and partners.
