The TV anime adaptation of Naoya Matsumoto’s hit manga Kaiju No. 8 is getting closer to its premiere in April 2024! 🎉 • In this third trailer, we get to see more of the action-packed scenes and the stunning animation by Production I.G. We also get to hear the voices of two more cast members who join the series: Shinomiya Kikoru, voiced by Ayane Sakura, and Hoshina Soushirou, voiced by Takahiro Sakurai. They are both captains of the Defense Corps, the elite military unit that fights against the monstrous kaiju. 🐲 • Kaiju No. 8 tells the story of Kafka Hibino, a 32-year-old man who works as a kaiju cleaner. He dreams of joining the Defense Corps, but his life changes when he becomes infected by a parasite-type kaiju and gains the ability to transform into one. Now he must hide his secret while pursuing his goal. 🙊 • The anime is directed by Shigeyuki Miya and Tomomi Kamiya, with Ichirō Ōkouchi as the scriptwriter and Tetsuya Nishio as the character designer.
