We originally moved to Winnersh from Milton Keynes and in 2014, my company moved to Thames Valley Park, literally 10 mins from our house in Winnersh, totally unexpected but saved my 60 minute commute into Sunbury every day. We chose the house, mainly for its very quiet location (safe for our cats!), its proximity to the local Winnersh train station to get into London and being less than 30 minutes to Heathrow as needed. We really had a clean canvas to work with and we have made a number of improvements over the years. Re-laid the driveway and landscaped the front garden in 2019, created a new kitchen / diner in 2020, refitted all bathrooms in 2021 and re-landscaped the entire rear garden in 2022. The immediate area has a lot to offer with Dinton pastures being a stones throw away from our house, great choice of restaurants and pubs within a 30 minute drive, not to mention the retail therapy opportunities around the Reading area! Due to a change in family circumstances we are looking to move house, unfortunate given the work we have had done to the house, but the buyer of this house will be getting a 'turn-key' property. We have enjoyed our time in this house and living in the Winnersh area but the time is right to move on now
