Options for upgrading your drivetrain are getting more and more abundant, this is a good thing! In the past, if you were running a SRAM XD freehub body with an 11-speed setup you were maxed out at 42 teeth for your climbing gear with no aftermarket answer to get more range out of your cassette. In order to get a significant gear range bump, you had to change everything on your drivetrain or add parts that got you closer to the range needed but also added shifting issues. Now with e*thirteens TRS+ cassette, you can now have a significant boost in gear range by just swapping out the cassette itself. Instead of a standard low gear of a 42t cog, you not only get a bigger 46t climbing gear but a 9 tooth on the other end versus the standard 11 speed 10 tooth high gear.
