Part 10 - Threed to Lake Tess • Jeff, the third party member, will join Ness soon. Jeff can't use PSI, but he can use gadgets that the other party members can't use. He can also repair broken items if his IQ is high enough when the party sleeps somewhere. Unfortunately, Jeff isn't guaranteed to repair a broken item even with sufficient IQ, so try to rest somewhere free if you want him to repair something. • Jeff's guns are also a little different from Ness and Paula's bash. Jeff's shoot can't get SMAAAASH!! hits, but its damage isn't reduced by shields, it never misses unless an enemy dodges or Jeff is crying, and it doesn't revert enemies feeling strange to normal. • • Outline: • 1:16 - Approach the zombies in northwest Threed. • 3:16 - Follow the woman into the Hotel. • 5:41 - Receive the Bad Key Machine from Maxwell. • 6:29 - Get the Pop Gun, Holmes Hat, and Broken Air Gun from the lockers. • 7:08 - Befriend the Bubble Monkey in the Drugstore. • 7:35 - Travel south. • • Notes: • 1:22 - The Insecticide Spray inflicts about 100 HP of damage to all bugs in battle. Useful in an upcoming area. • 3:22 - You can catch up to her with a Skip Sandwich, but nothing happens. • 5:19 - Use Cookies to recover after fights. • 7:32 - Some people have raised enough money to buy the T-Rex's Bat from the Drugstore by selling the Defense Spray and items enemies drop. • 7:37 - There's a small shortcut if you walk farther down from here. • 8:15 - Gruff Goat: try to keep Jeff's HP above 13. Use the Boiled Egg to recover during a fight. • 9:35 - The Defense Spray is pretty useless. Sell for $250. • • My rules for this walkthrough: • 1.I don't use Big/Multi Bottle Rockets because I think they make the game too easy. My hope is that not using Bottle Rockets will give you a better sense of what each boss is like and make these videos more interesting. • 2.I avoid level grinding as much as possible.
