“Vides Fakti”, a programme on the Latvian television, made a short documentary about one of the river restoration projects that EKOenergy financed. • During the project, an old dam was demolished, allowing salmonids to migrate up the river to their spawning grounds. This was a historic moment as the fish had not been able to go upstream for around 100 years due to the dam. • The project was implemented by The Latvian Fund for Nature. It took place in October 2015 on the Norina River in Latvia.
