Our Honda 520 is predominantly used for fire wood collection, hunting travels, gravel road leveling and trail riding/creation. This review is less technical than some others and focuses on drivability and nuances of the ATV itself on day to day use. We have owned the Honda 520 for just over 3 months with over 300 km's and have had no issues to date. This Honda Foreman 520 has electric shift which was a request by my wife as she doesn't like the manual foot shift on our Rancher 420. The electric shift is smooth with a very easy learning curve to get up go. The electric power steering (EPS) is smooth and allows for easy turning. However, the turning radius is slightly limited compared to the Rancher 420. Everything on this ATV is stock as upgrading tires seems to be an unnecessary expenditure for our off grid use. Pretty much all our main tools and toys are Honda, this is due to our experience in this brand being dependable and durable. SO far, so good! • We also have a 2016 Honda Rancher 420 which we started off with once we purchased our property. This was actually lent to us by my close friend who wasn't using it at the time and knew it would be put to good use on our 100 acres. Not to mention how many times it saved a crap ton of work manually. I will do a similar review on this model in the future.
