The Laputian-bot (the Robot Soldier) from Castle in the Sky is, like nearly everything Miyazaki, a work of art. The Laputian takes out an entire castle in just a few minutes, has hundreds of soldiers on the run and its basically a broken shell of what it used to be which is why it is one of the top 10 greatest, most badass robots in animated films. The clip is being used as part of a review under fair use law. • With respect to the music: When this video was posted up, I was new to the whole fair use thing. At the time I was not sure if fair use meant we had to change the clip somehow so we changed something the music, because our emphasis wasn't on the film, wasn't on the sound, it was on the robot character itself and it was part of an article about robots.
