Just three years after Simon, one of our incredible Wish Makers began volunteering for us, his daughter, Hannah, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of soft tissue cancer. Her wish 'to meet the cast of Coronation Street' gave the family warm memories of Hannah’s smiling face, just months before she passed away: “To see her smiling, to forget about hospitals, appointments, treatment, even for a short time was magical.” • Inspired by his daughter, Simon continues to support Make-A-Wish, running half marathons, talking on sponsored walks, volunteering at events, and being a Wish Maker. • • “I’ve experienced what it is like to be the parent of a wish child.
