Cycle 6 Exercise: A Game-Changer for Chord Transitions This technique moves through chords of a key in 6ths. Here's how it works: • 1. Start with C major • 2. Move to Am, then F, Dm, Bdim, G, Em • 3. Key trick: Two notes stay, one moves up • Example in C major: • C (C-E-G) to Am (A-C-E) • 1. C and E stay put • 2. G moves to A • Pro tip: It's always the 5th that moves up! • Full cycle: • C (E-G-C) → • Am (E-A-C) → • F (F-A-C) → • Dm (F-A-D) → • Bdim (F-B-D) → • G (G-B-D) → • Em (G-B-E) → • C (G-C-E) • Practice this pattern daily. It'll improve your transitions and help you connect chords across the fretboard. • Give it a try and let me know how it goes! • #shorts #guitartips #guitarchords #learnguitar #guitarchordslesson
