Dashcam Viewer Tutorial for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y

Tesla's new dashcam viewer is a welcome addition to the security system in all Tesla vehicles. This video covers how to use this feature as well as what accessories you will need in order to save video from sentry mode and dashcam. Sentry mode records events when people or other moving objects get too close to your vehicle while it is parked. Dashcam captures a continuous 60 minute loop of footage while you are driving and allows the drivers to save clips should an event occur while driving. • UPDATE: Tesla recently added a feature where the trigger event will show up as a red dot on the video timeline when viewing sentry mode clips. This make its much easier to review sentry footage and eliminates the lengthy process of scrubbing through all ten minutes of captured sentry mode events.
