At its peak in the 18th c., the Atlantic slave trade ravaged the life of about 12 million men, women, and children. Can we retrace their journey from the shores of Africa to the Americas? (hint: most didn't go to what is today the US) Can we give them back some of the humanity they lost as slaves? (we can! we have some first-person accounts by people like Olaudah Equiano).
