LIKE for Carrot on a Stick :D? • Minecraft patch 1.4.2 just came out, which included a HUGE list of changes, and lots of new items to the game, which included the Carrot on a Stick. In this video I wanna show you, how you can craft this item and some of the stuff you can use it for. • To use a carrot on a stick, the player must first saddle the pig. The pig will then move in the direction that the carrot on a stick points to. To make the pig run faster the player can right click while holding the Carrot on a stick.[1] It is not possible to have the pig swim into water. Hitting the pig will make it move randomly as if it were hurt. Also, if the player holds a carrot on a stick, all pigs (saddled or not) will follow the player (replacing wheat as the breeding item). Pigs can climb ladders and vines allowing for vertical movement besides jumping. The player can ride pigs through portals. The pigs will slowly eat the carrot, evetually leaving you with a fishing rod.
