In this video we will take a look at the Megger BITE 3 lead setup and connections for performing ohmic testing on substation batteries. This will include the current transmitter module, receiver, potential probe, amp clamp and the current injection leads. The BITE 3 is used for taking battery impedance, cell voltage and intercell strap resistance measurements. • The Megger BITE3 Battery Impedance Test Equipment determines the health of lead-acid cells by taking measurements of the most important battery parameters. The BITE3 measures cell impedance, an internal ohmic test, cell voltage, intercell connection resistance and ripple current. And, for the first time in a battery instrument, the BITE3 measures float current and the harmonic content of the ripple current. There is even a built-in spectrum analyzer to show the harmonic content of the ripple current. • find out more https://bit.ly/2UAcHW0 • Website: http://www.megger.com/ • Subscribe: https://goo.gl/QpaUNy • US Technical Support: 214 330 3519 • E: [email protected] • US Sales Support: 800 723 2861 • E: [email protected]
