Updated video showing correct removal and installation of preload adjuster cap. • • For XPLOR fork caps fitted with preload adjusters, you should turn the preload adjuster with the cap when loosening from the cartridge. A KTM Special tool is available part # T14087. Damage to the preload adjuster thread may occur if you don't do this. • If your XPLOR fork caps don't have proload adjusters you can just unscrew them from the cartridge rods without a special tool... • This shows you all the steps to change the fork oil seal in a WP XPLOR fork, fitted in 2017 KTM and Husqvarva offroad models.
