I just harvested a few acorns this year to make a recipe I’ve been wanting to try, but these make a great pantry staple. They preserve great and have many different uses - commonly used in the same ways you would use almond flour. They also have a high starch content used in Korea for a jelly-like dessert and noodles. Acorns have been an incredibly important food source for cultures across the globe. #foraging #acorn #ediblewildplants
