The Onomichi Seven Temple Pilgrimage or Seven Temples Walk is a walking route in Onomichi, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan, that enables people to visit seven historic temples whilst enjoying the area's unique architecture, landscapes, temple gardens wonderful views over the Onomichi. • The seven temple on the walk are: • Jikō-ji Temple • Known for its impressive stone gate and a painting of the bodhisattva Fugen Enmyo, which is believed to prolong life. • Tennei-ji Temple • Features a three-storied pagoda with views over Onomichii the sea. • Senko-ji Temple • High up on a mountain accessible via a ropeway. This is perhaps Onomichi's most iconic landmark. • Taisan-ji Temple • Taisanji Temple is tied closely with Sugawara no Michizane, revered as the god of learning.
