Sony A7IV A7M4 10bit 4K Cinematic

Its here, the A7IV. This is the camera everyone has been waiting for. Even myself. First of all, special thanks to Sony Australia for letting me test out the camera. • I gotta say, this is probably one of the most excited camera for me in 2021. As I always want a second body for my A7SIII. Keeping most of the features of the A7SIII but more affordable. And this is it. Even though this camera sits below the A7SIII. But a lot of features are actually better than the A7SIII. First, the sharper 7K oversampling 4K footage thanks to the 33 MegaPixel sensor. Second, the Super 35mm mode in 4K. Due to the low Megapixels on the A7SIII. We never had the 4K crop before. Third, the ISO performance. I don’t normally shoot high ISO. But I was surprised below ISO 12,800 it is still very clean (Only did that ISO test by myself at home), the fourth is the S-Cinetone. This is the most important for me. As I do weddings, I always like to use the same picture profile on all cameras. This A7IV has it, so it makes my life so much easier. • Although the 4K 60p is only available in crop mode. But to be honest, I don’t mind it too much. As I can always use the A7SIII when I need the full frame 4K 60p. Also the 4K 120p is missing. But I don’t do much of the 4K 120p myself, so I’m okay with it. • Over all, I’m super impressed with the camera. I know the price tag is slightly higher than the previous version. But I rather have all the features that a cheaper price tag. • Note: I only had the camera for 2 days, so I had to mix the 4K 25p and 4K 50p video all together.
