See annotations in video for Pokemon Black/White tutorial. (for some reason i can't write it in the description box) • A lot of you have been asking me the exact same questions that are in this description. READ it if you have a question, and if it's not there or you don't find the answer you are looking for then ask me. If you're wondering why the quality sucks I lost a lot of video quality when I was editing it on movie maker. • Emulator Site: • http://nocash.emubase.de/gba.htm • Rom Site • Not the same place as in the video; • http://www.coolrom.com/roms/nds/16933... • WinRAR dowload: • http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm • This is just to extract it. Click on WinRAR x86 (32 bit) 3.93 if your using a 32 bit system (most likely you are) and WinRAR x64 (64 bit) 3.93 if you are using a 64 bit system. WinRAR is not the only program there is to extract files, so if you already have an extracting program you don't need to download it. • • FAQ. • Q. The screen just says The data could not be read. Please turn off the power, then remove and reinsert the DS Game Card What do i do? • A. press F11, go to NDS Cartridge Backup Media and press FLASH 256Bytes • Q. Absolutely nothing happens • A. Do you have the latest no$gba emulator? • EDIT: There haven't been any version coming out recently, so either the maker of no$gba has died, became broke or just couldn't be bothered to continue making the emulator. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work, so just go buy a DS like most people do. • Q Grrr its SO SLOW!! • A. Firstly, calm down. Second, did you watch the video? if not press F11 again and put sound sample rate at the lowest. For emulation Speed change it to Unlimited MHz Disaster, 10%. That's about all you can do, and if that's still slow for you then you're just gonna have to wait for a new release. Another way is to go to the controls tab and disable the joysticks/gamepads, because i doubt you will ever use them. • Q. What are the controls. • A. You can set them your self... press F11 once again and change the tab to controls. The bottom screen you click with your mouse. • Q. The game freezes after the first battle with Starly. • A. Press F11, go to the sound output bar and select either digital stereo or digital mono. Make sure it is not on 'none'. This will enable the sound, and it will slow down the speed of the game however it will not freeze. I have not played past this point, so it could freeze again past that point if you turn the sound off again. It is probably better to keep it on. • Q. How do you save? • A. Currently the default start button is the x button on the keyboard, so press that in game and go down the menu and save. Currently there is no quicksave feature available through the emulator that I am aware of, but feel free to PM me if there is. • Q. What is a ROM and a Emulator? • A. The emulator is the console and the ROM is the game. In our case the emulator is the Nintendo DS and the ROM is Pokemon Pearl. • Q. Is there any way to make the screen larger? • A. To be short, there is, however it is not very efficient or pretty. To do this, simply right click the program icon and go to Properties. Under Compatibility, check the run in 640 x 480 option. However, this will make the computer's resolution (everything) larger as long as the program is running (but everything goes back to the normal size after you close it). You can also download an external program to make it bigger, try google to find one. • If you were wondering, for this process to be legal, you must own a legitimate copy of Pokemon Pearl. If you don't, this process still works just like I showed you, but it may be illegal (depending on the laws in your country). • Thanks for watching! Please feel free to subscribe, comment, rate etc.
