Yes live at the Seattle Coliseum, Seattle, WA, USA, September 18th 1977, Going for the One Tour • Jon Anderson - Lead Vocals, Acoustic Guitar • Alan White - Drums, Percussion • Rick Wakeman - Keyboards • Steve Howe - Lead Guitars, Backing Vocals • Chris Squire - Bass Guitar, Vocals • Setlist: • Parallels; 6:22 I've Seen All Good People; 13:43 Close to the Edge; 34:05 Wonderous Stories; 38:27 Colors Of the Rainbow; 39:20 Turn Of the Century; 47:28 Tour Song; 49:34 And You And I; 59:48 Going for the One; 1:05:58 Flight Jam; 1:10:08 Awaken; 1:28:31 Starship Trooper; 1:41:45 Roundabout • -Some say this tour was full of good spirit, great jams and a happy Wakeman (Wakemoney, for some) return; You might include me on this group! • -This tour has such a positive vibe when heard, maybe it's because there are only audience recordings, making you feel there, the lineup was perfect and the setlist too; It's implicit to say there were nothing but amazing performances by everyone • -At this show particularly, the word is Jam, as it's present throughout the entire performances, especially by Wakeman and Howe, both are not in the mood for the same old thing tonight! hahaha; You'll hear most of their random jams on the CTTE performance, by far the most affected by both (Sometimes in a good way, other times in a strange way) • -The tour itself had the ''oficial jams'' like Awaken's intro called Flight Jam, the cute addition of Colors Of the Rainbow and the 'Tour Song' • -As the highlights I name a flawless redemption of And You And I, an amazing performance of Roundabout and great rhythms on Starship Trooper • -Since we were talking about Awaken, let me just express what I feel now: It's a great song, for most points, studio or not, sometimes, live, it could get a bit boring; This performance is one of those, at least for me, nothing like Milwaukee '79, my last upload; In my honest opinion, Awaken is far from being the last prog song by Yes (A few great examples on 'Drama' and during the 90's)
