UN fires on Rebel Positions in Congo

Speaking to NTV, Lt. Col. Innocent Mugabe of the M23 rebels who is commanding the force that took over Busanza last week, said he is just waiting for orders to march onto government troops who have returned to Rutshuru. There are also reports that five helicopters from the UN forces shelled areas occupied by rebels in Nkokwe and Bukima near Rutshuru and Goma. UNCHR officials anticipate a renewed influx of refugees from eastern Congo.
