Delphinus Bursa is the third single from my upcoming ambient album, OCEANIC, on Appearing Records (www.appearingrecords.com). Oceanic is inspired by the sea and the mystery of what happens underwater. Delphinus is the Latin name for Dolphin, and the Bursa(s) are the part of their body that makes the clicks and whistles that they use to communicate. • The song is largely built with layers of modular synthesizers clocked together at the same tempo. Many different performances of the same sequences were recorded (record the sequence while live twiddling knobs), and then edited and layered.
