This miniature bottle charm is based off a children's science experiment that creates an ocean in a bottle just by using oil and water. When you turn the bottle side to side the oil and water create the effect of a wave. • This DIY is super fun and easy to create. With minim,al materials you can recreate this simple experiment and create a cute charm in one! • Follow my craft board on Pinterest for more DIY ideas! •   / roseematthews   • Music: • Comfortable Mystery 4 - Film Noire by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/...) • Source: http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-... • Artist: http://incompetech.com/ • Materials • Bottle • Oil • Blue food dye • Water • Steps • 1. Fill the bottle one third of the way with water. This step is easiest when using a funnel, especially if you are using a miniature bottle. Add a small drop of blue food dye. The water component of the bottle is meant to simulate the ocean. • 2. Fill the remaining space of the bottle with oil (two thirds). • 3. Glue on the cork with a strong glue to ensure it remains. That's it, you now have an ocean in a bottle! To make the ocean come to life just shake the bottle! • Thank you so much for watching this video, I hope you enjoyed it.
