Do you feel stiff and tight before you workout? Need a couple great full body stretches? • Here are 2 of my favorite full body stretches that I use prior to every workout! • 1. This first stretch is great for your groin, hips, and back. Stand with your feet wide apart and your toes pointed out. Place your hands on your thighs just above the knees. Squat down. Now press your right knee out with your right hand. As you do so, turn your torso and stretch it down towards your left side. Hold for 3 seconds and perform 3 times. Then repeat the opposite way. • 2. This second stretch will loosen your hips, back, and shoulders. Stand in a door jam. Place your right foot out in front so that it touches the door jam. Place your left leg behind you and along side the wall. With your left hand, grab the door jam in front of you. Now turn your torso to your right. Place your right arm out straight and along the same wall as your left leg. Hold for 30 seconds and perform 3 times.
