This ship is one of the harder ones to get a foot on the ground with due to lack of shields.Even so there is a good strategy to survive with this ship and you guessed it, proper use of your cloak. Now how to do this. • 1) What does your cloak do for you anyway? Well, to start of it halts charging the enemies weapons and on top of that, it adds 60 to evasion and finally it makes boarders incapable of leaving your ship but also getting on your ship. And it makes boarding drones act all funny when they haven't boarded yet. (They basically grind to a halt only to make a mad dash for your ship when your cloak runs out.) Furthermore, if you fire it will drain some of your cloak so it is possible to fire and remain cloaked. • 2) Now when should you deploy your cloak. It's pretty easy if you keep the above in consideration. You should cloak when the enemy has fired his weapons, the best time for this is when the shots come into the screen of your ship. This way not only does his weapons no longer charge but the shots already fired will also miss (if you have a decent evasion to start of with which is no problem with this ship.),giving you double the time then when you would have cloaked from the start. • 3) When your weapons are charged, you really don't have a reason to wait to fire. Your first priority will of course the enemy weapons since they'll probably get the next shot of before you can cloak again. • 4) Once you do get shields cloaking is really convenient dodge missiles when you don't have a defense drone. It should also be used before launching a drone since with the right weapons they might not be able to get a second missile off thus saving a drone part. • 5) If possible, you can try to get the stealth weapons augment. This will make it so that firing your weapons will not drain your cloak. This makes it usefull to get a lvl 3 cloak. • 6) It can be pretty useful to upgrade cloak once (same for the DA-SR) the extra time might be enough to get a second shot of • 7) Drones are a pain until you get shields. If those come up the smart thing to do is cloak immediately, esp. when they are beam drones.
