USS Constitution under sail in Boston Harbor, Aug 24, 2007. As viewed from Spectacle Island, Logan International in background. Various noises from jets, tourists, wind, surf. The loud buzzing is from insects. • • Last sail this season is on Aug 31st, then not again until the summer of 2010 due to maintenance demands, she will however be open for her regular tours at the Charlestown Shipyard. • • USS Constitution will be sailing under her own power into Boston Harbor (Aug 31st). She will take a cruise out to Deer Island and on the return trip will do a 21-gun salute when she passes Castle Island in South Boston.
