Hi everybody, check out the Roland HandSonic HPD-20! This digital drum is a very cool instrument - it's fun and easy to play, sounds great, and has a ton of different drum, percussion and instrument sounds. In fact, it comes with 850 sounds, based on Roland's SuperNATURAL sound engine so you know they sound awesome. • The playing surface is divided into 13 pressure-sensitive zones, and the way the sounds are mapped to the HPD-20 mimics the response of the real drum. For example, when you load up a conga sound, you can hear the transition from the middle of the head to the rim as your hands move across the surface. • I think the HandSonic HPD-20 is just as suitable for electronic music producers as it is for drummers and percussionists. From the great sounds to the responsive playing surface, this is a very cool instrument.
