Paracosm Week 3

This level is not normal. It's found on an account with an unreasonable amount of My Little Pony themed Nine Circles levels, and to my knowledge, this one is the hardest. • My friends and I first found this account over a year ago, and while all of the levels were fun to look through, this one stood out. The balancing of this level is unintentionally hilarious, featuring random difficulty spikes and inconsistent sections while still being fun to play. I've joked in the past about someone beating it, thinking it would never be done. • So what makes this level hard? In short: the Dual at 73%. First, you have to transition into the Dual a certain way or you will either overshoot or undershoot the Cube jump at the bottom. Second, there are two gravity switches in the Cube part of the Dual, in turn requiring two awkward double clicks in the Wave portion. And finally - the part that solidifies this as ridiculous - the slopes of the last up-down portion of the Wave are backwards, making it a one-space wave. One of the gravity switches is in this portion of the Wave. So not only do you have to play a minute of level to get to this Dual, but every single part after the Dual is extremely chokeable. The bossfight's hitboxes are appear way faster and are way larger than they look on video, and the last Cube features some difficult timings. I got lucky, only dying past the Dual twice. • While it may not be my hardest, this is one of my favorite achievements.
