After few years running a single commercial worm farm with stacking trays I one day decided to go bigger and acquired 7 more from people who were getting rid of theirs. Then I realised what a pain it was to maintain many of this type of worm bin. At every feeding of each worm bin you need to open the lid, lift the worm blanket, sprinkle some garden lime, add the bedding material, add the food scraps, cover with more bedding... • This is when I decided to replace 5 of my commercial worm farms with a single homemade one: a Continuous Flow Through or CFT worm bin I nicknamed Gargantua (from the french literature). • Being large, I can feed it almost anything, even citrus, an entire water melon, garlic, chili, you name it. The compost worms (Eisenia Fetida, Perionyx Excavatus) have a lot of neutral place to retreat to until the food scraps were safe to be consumed. Only one bin to maintain intead of 5 saved me heaps of time. • This video shows you how I setup Gargantua DIY CFT after I finished building it. You will see how I got the 12 bedding layer and added the worms. • Big thank you to my dad and my son for helping me with the construction of this CFT worm bin. It was a nice family activity. • https://thelittlewormfarm.com/en/diy-... • Gargantua's first feed video available here:    • Gargantua's first feeding - CFT worm bin
