This was definitely the best Orca Encounter that day! It starts off with the girls doing the intro and the boys doing the educational segments but ends strong with all five killer whales together. The crowd was at capacity and really into the show too! Highlights below: • 0:35 Intro with Nalani, Katina, and Malia • 1:20 - Katina and Nalani opposing ventral bows • 1:40 - Malia's backdive • 3:08 - Katina on the slideout • 4:55 Husbandry Demonstration with Trua and Makaio • 6:00 - Makaio and Trua fluke present, Trua looks so long! • 6:58 - Makaio and Trua slideout and you'll hear their weights as of this date! • 8:08 Play/Volunteer Segment with Trua and Makaio • 8:50 - Trua's hula! • 9:18 - Trua's bow at stage! This really shows his size off! • 9:57 - Makaio's side breach, he got decent height! • 11:52 - The Hunt/Splash Segment with Nalani, Katina, Trua, Malia, and Makaio • 12:01- Malia and Trua slideover then fluke splash the center, I thought it was neat how they could be sent to do the same thing together from different back pools • 13:42 - All 5 whales fluke splash together then slideover separately! • 16:43 One Big World with Nalani, Malia, Makaio, Trua, and Katina • 17:28 - Katina's corkscrew! • 18:30 - They wanted Makaio to front flip with Nalani but he did a belly breach instead. He doesn't get sent on group front flips a lot so I see why he did that! • 19:23 - Nalani and Katina opposing high jumps! • 20:06 - All 5 whales center belly breach together!
