We never thought we’d see the day again. No not a Mercedes on the podium, a broken Ferrari strategy or even a Max Verstappen win. But F1 actually allowing a race to start while it was raining and what a great call it was too! • • This week on the podcast we look back at an action packed Canadian Grand Prix where normal service seemed to have been resumed at the front with our usual Sunday performance of the Dutch National Anthem, but this time round Max had to work for it and McLaren and Mercedes were there at the sharp end to make sure that he wasn’t able to head off into the sunset (rainset?) with everyone else trailing in his wake (tying to keep the puns to a minimum here) • • There’s the usual team by team review of the race, which gives us chance to dump on the usual suspects (Logan Sargent, Ferrari) and if it had rained more we could have been covering Haas last!
