This video will show you how to change the battery on your kwikset deadbolt lock. Start by removing the two allen screw heads (hex Head) the size of wrench is 3/32. The process is the same on models Smartcode 909, 910, 911 914 locks. The battery change is the same for deadbolt locks that are Z-Wave as well. The batteries that are in the lock are four AA battery.
