Have you ever wondered what the difference is between Alizarin Crimson and Permanent Alizarin Crimson? ARE they different? Is the permanent version more lightfast than the original PR83 pigment, which is known to be fugitive? Is PR83 actually fugitive? Well I have certainly pondered these highly important issues, and in today's video, I have all the answers! I've done a showdown comparing both versions of gorgeous red, from a number of different brands to get as accurate a result as possible for the light fastness test. • My lightfast test was conducted for just over a year at home, and obviously it is not going to be perfect but I think there are some really definitive results here.
