Smashburgers Recipe on the Weber Kettle using SearNSizzle™ GrillGrate

Guest Chef Thomas Scarano of Gallery Backyard BBQ returns with another GRATE recipe! • On today's show let's make some Molly Smashburgers recipes on the weber kettle using the GrillGrate. • Ingredients • 2 Loosely packed 80/20 ground beef patties • Few slices of Bacon • 1/2 cup brown sugar • 2 pieces of your favorite cheese • salt pepper to taste • 1, Take your GrillGrates and flip over to the flat side. • 2, Set your kettle up for a two-zone heat and heat your GrillGrates to 450-550°F. • 3, Add your Bacon and cook for 4 to 5 minutes or until done. • 4, Add your brown sugar-infused loosely-packed patties and cook 10-30 seconds before the smash. • 5, Now using parchment or butcher paper smash your 80/20 holding for 10 seconds. Repeat on both patties. • 6, Cook for 1 minute or until the sides of the patties turn slit whitish in color. That's when it's time to flip.
