In today’s video, I’m going to show you how to reinstall your computer’s Bluetooth drivers on Windows 11. • To get started: • 1. Go into the Windows start bar, and type in “Device Manager”, and click on the “Device Manager” search result to open it up. • 2. Once device manager opens, click on the “View” menu option, and click on the “Show Hidden Devices” option. This will ensure that all Bluetooth drivers are visible for us to see. • 3. Now, click on the arrow icon next to the “Bluetooth” menu item to expand it. • 4. As you can see, my computer has multiple Bluetooth devices on it. • 5. Typically, the Bluetooth device called “Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol)” is the one that controls your computer’s Bluetooth adapter. • 6. So to reinstall this device, right click on it, and click on the “Uninstall device” menu option. • 7. Now, that the Bluetooth adapter has uninstalled, go to the top menu bar, click on the “Action” dropdown menu. • 8. Now click on the “Scan for hardware changes” menu item. • 9. Your computer will now detect that your Bluetooth adapter is no longer installed, and it’ll reinstall it. • 10. Your computer’s Bluetooth adapter should now be working. If it’s still not working, you’ll want to open up your web browser, and type in “Intel Bluetooth Driver”, and click on the first result on Google. Please ensure this is from the Intel website. • 11. Once you get to the Intel website, you’ll be taken to this Wireless Bluetooth Drivers page. • 12. From the “Available Downloads” section, click on the blue “Download” button to download the latest Bluetooth drivers. • 13. Once the download has completed downloading, click on the file to run the installer. • 14. The intel Bluetooth driver installation will now begin to run. • 15. This upgrade dialog window will now display, click on the “Yes” button. • 16. Now from this screen, click on the “Next” button. And then next again. • 17. Now from this screen, you’ll want to accept the terms and conditions, and click on the “Next” button. • 18. Now, from this screen, you’ll want to select the install type, I’m going to select “Typical”. • 19. Now click on the “Install” button. Now click on “Finish”. • 20. Now your computer’s Bluetooth should be working, and you should be able to connect devices to your computer wirelessly. • And it’s as easy as that, reinstalling your computer’s Bluetooth driver is an easy task to perform. • #bluetooth #windows11 #drivers
