http://www.newayfertility.com • IVM (In Vitro Maturation of eggs), with this method, we are able to collect immature eggs from smaller follicles in the ovary and mature them in the laboratory with the use of specially designed culture conditions. Several embryos could be created without exposing women to high doses of stimulating injections and their side-effects. • IVM is a novel technology , but in our hands , in our clinics in Korea ,it has revealed itself to be extremely successful. The clinical pregnancy rate are 35-40%,based on about 3,000 IVM cycles done at Maria Fertility Hospital in Korea. • In conventional IVF, the ovaries are hyperstimulated and a great number of oocytes are produced. Until recently IVF laboratories could only work with mature oocytes and the immature oocytes would be discarded.
