How I repaired my broken Philips Hue bulb

I bought the Philips Hue (3rd Gen) starter kit, and 4 hours after setting it up, I was vacuuming and knocked over a table lamp, breaking the diffuser on my bulb! I thought I was out $50, but came across a couple resources (original instructions linked below) online explaining how to replace the diffuser with one from an IKEA Ledare LED bulb. • My generation of Hue and Ledare were not the same as those in the instructions I found, so it involved some trial and error. Eventually I figured out a workable solution. If you broke a Hue bulb, hopefully this video is helpful to you. • I ended up installing the repaired bulb right next to one that is unaltered.
