Previously, I have reviewed two 400mm wingspan ready-to-fly (RTF) mini warbirds from Eachine, the F4U Corsair and the T-28 Trojan. In case you have not watched my reviews of these mini warbirds, here are the links: • Eachine Mini F4U Corsair •    • Eachine Mini F4U Corsair 400mm RTF fr...   •    • Eachine Mini F4U Corsair 400mm RTF fr...   • Eachine Mini T-28 Trojan •    • Eachine Mini T-28 Trojan 400mm RTF fr...   •    • Eachine Mini T-28 Trojan 400mm RTF fr...   •    • Eachine Mini T-28 Trojan 400mm RTF fr...   • The Mini P51D Mustang is the third airplane in this series. Instead of ordering it from Banggood, this time I decided to try out another online vendor and ordered it from Monkey Hobby for $72.34 including shipping. This was the lowest price I could find at that time and a couple dollars less expensive than at Banggood. The brand is Volantex RC, but it is identical to the Mini Mustang from Eachine (both originating from EXHOBBY and just being rebranded on the box). • This plane has three control settings for different experience levels, namely beginner, intermediate and expert. The beginner and intermediate levels are stabilized by the built-in 6-axis gyro (actually 3 gyros and 3 accelerometers). The beginner mode only allows a maximum of 20-30 degrees of bank (i.e. ailerons) and pitch (i.e. elevator) angles and stabilizes the airplane for straight-and-level flight as soon as you let go of the control sticks. The intermediate mode still restricts the banks but allows full control of the elevator (no restrictions on the pitch angle) to perform loops and such, while still stabilizing the airplane. The expert mode seems to turn off all restrictions and stabilization, and the airplane becomes quite agile almost to the point of becoming uncontrollable except by expert RC pilots. • In the first video I covered the unboxing and setting up of this airplane, which only required the installation of landing gear via two screws and charging the battery: •    • Volantex RC (Eachine) Mini P51D Musta...   • In this second video, I am performing the maiden flight of this airplane and testing out its flight modes and stability. At the end, I am sharing my final verdict. It is a fast little airplane that is very stable in the Beginner and Intermediate modes and extremely agile and had to control in the Expert mode. I do not recommend it as a beginner airplane since it is quick and fast and goes out of sight rather quickly. However, it would be a great second parkflyer for a relatively large open field without any obstacles around. In the future video, I am planning to fly this mini warbird with the other two I have from Eachine (F4U and T-28) for a dogfight with my sons. I will also make another video comparing this new airplane to the old, original Mini Mustang from ParkZone: •    • RC Oldies But Goldies – ParkZone P-51...   • Thank you very much for watching.
