RCE Yellows Installation 2015 2017 Subaru WRX STI

Installing RCE yellows on my 2017 Subaru STI. • RaceComp Engineering • It lowers approximately 20mm front and rear. • • First, I want to apologize for not having a before and after. Cameras are not perfect and the footage I needed, for some reason the file got corrupted. I will give you a post review of the springs and I will give you video shots of the setup. • Second, I want to apologize for the microphone problem I had. I forgot to connect my mic back. • Basically the spring installation is the same as with the front in terms to putting the spring that sits properly on the shock. The shock, just like the front strut, has like a grove that the end of the spring will sit on. • Now this is the difference from the fronts. The RCE comes with bump stops for the rear. Basically use your muscle to pull the OEM bump stop off. The RCE bump stop has a larger hole and a smaller hole. The larger hole goes in first and all you need is to push down till the the bump stop basically is in and it stops. If you look at your shock, you will know what I am talking about. • Now this part is the most important because the top part of the shock does not spin like the fronts. You need to align the two bolts on the top hat with the bottom hole of the shock (where the bolt goes in with the rear control arm). It need to be align because it does not spin on top and it needs to be straight so it can fit on the holes when you put the shock back in. • If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
