Stent migration is a drawback of the placement of fully covered self-expandable metal stents (FCSEMSs) for malignant biliary strictures. This retrospective multicenter study examined a novel and simple technique for anchoring the FCSEMS with a parallel 7-Fr double-pigtail plastic stent placed alongside.
