Hey guys, On this video I show you step by step instructions on how to make oxtail which we congolese call it mikila. • *************LET'S STAY CONNECT******** • EMAIL: [email protected] • INSTAGRAM:   / letscookwithelle   • WORDPRESS: https://letscookwithelle.wordpress.com • TWITTER:   / i_amelle   •  πŸ’œ • ***************INGREDIENTS************ • 1 kg of Oxtail, make sure is washed after purchase. • To boil: • *800ml of water • *4 Maggi cubes • *1 table spoon of garlic and ginger paste OR if fresh use 1 tea spoon of garlic and 1 tea spoon of ginger • *1 tea spoon of all purpose seasoning • Half a tea spoon of dry thyme • Ground nutmeg • For the source • Turn on the cooker to medium heat: • Add 4 table spoons of vegtable oil then add Onions, Spring Onions, Red Pepper, half a can of tomatoes, 1 Maggi cube and 1 tea spoon of all purpose seasoning. • Time- Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes including the preparation.  • This also goes well with Plantain:    • Fried Plantain (Makemba) Congolese food   • Thanks for watching and please like, share and subscribe. • Happy cooking πŸ’œ
